Wheelio
My computer doesn't show up on the iPhone.
Open the receiver on your computer first. On iPhone, check Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network and make sure Wheelio is allowed. Keep Wi-Fi turned on for both devices, and allow the receiver if your computer's firewall asks.
Steering feels off-center.
Wheelio centers itself from how you're holding the phone when you connect. Hold it in your normal driving position and tap Center to set a new zero point.
Steering is too sensitive, or not sensitive enough.
Open the controller setup and change the rotation to match your game (900° is common for sims, 180–360° for arcade racers), or try a different response curve and smoothing preset.
What happens if my phone locks mid-race?
Within about 250 ms the receiver sets steering, pedals and buttons back to neutral, so your car never keeps accelerating on its own.
Does Wheelio need the internet?
No. Your iPhone talks directly to your computer over your local network. There are no accounts and nothing goes to the internet.
PencilBridge
The status lights aren't all green.
Use a USB-C cable that carries data, not just power. Unlock the iPad and keep PencilBridge open on it. The receiver restarts the USB link by itself. You can also tap Reconnect next to the connection status.
The cursor moves but clicking or typing doesn't work on Mac.
Allow PencilBridge in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility. This enables text-field detection and Compatibility output.
Which mode should I use for osu!?
Use osu! Double Tap or Tip Hold with the Desktop / osu! profile, and set the active area to a size that's comfortable for your arm. On Windows, select your game monitor, use absolute mode and turn off Raw Input in osu!.
Does it work over Wi-Fi?
No, and that's on purpose. PencilBridge only works over the USB cable, which keeps latency low and your input private.
